- Blaze Pizza Keto Crust?

skibbidywibbidy Has anyone had this consistently on keto and continued to lose weight? I've had it a few times and it hasn't affected me but I'm extra paranoid about the Keto bread and wanted to see if anyone could reassure that it's actually keto-friendly?
- RondaVuWithDestiny I've had the keto crust from Blaze Pizza, and it's quite good. It's a very thin crust but holds up well to cheese, sauce, mushrooms and sausage. There are only 6g net carbs (14 total - 8 fiber) in the whole 11" pizza crust. I downed 1/2 the pizza at Blaze with no problem, and it didn't kick me out of ketosis or upset my stomach. Had the second half the next day for dinner. Definitely keto friendly!
- sshdragon Its keto friendly in that it's low in carbs. A slice or two is fine, but the whole thing has 12-14 net carbs. Add on the marinara, and add a few toppings and you're close to the daily net carbs limit if you're trying to lose weight. I think it's fine for an occasional treat, but as an everyday meal it's probably not such a good idea.
- Upper-Shoe-81 Yep, my hubby loves Blaze and wants to eat there once or twice a month, so I join in and get the Keto crust. Used to eat the entire pizza in one sitting but now can only eat half and I'm full - save the leftovers for the next day. Been Keto for 7 months and still dropping weight consistently.
- Sir_Toccoa I tried it and it was inedible. Threw it out.
- RemarkableDog4512 Yes. I eat it regularly and continue to lose. I watch the toppings bcs some of the meats have carbs, like meatballs but I don't care about the veggies or sauce. I'll order just fresh garlic, n cheese for garlic bread or just cheese n use for a sandwich. It doesn't have the modified starches n wheat products like the keto breads. There is cultured brown rice as a listed ingredient but it's never bumped or stalled me. The breads will stall me. Atkins bars stall n kick me out. Blaze keto crust does neither. The cauliflower crust will do both if I eat too much but is great for “cheat” days. Rebel ice cream does neither in moderation. As I get closer to goal I notice it's more about calories in / out, exercise and that stalls can be broken by going back to strict Atiks or carnivore for a few days.
Edit: Try just fresh garlic, shred mozzarella & feta the next time you make spaghetti squash n bolognese- Blaze Pizza has an amazing Keto Crust.

turdgirl1 Blaze Pizza has a keto crust that has 6 net carbs for the whole Pizza (but adding sauce will make it 12 net carbs)
This is by far my favorite pizza alternative (although I love quest too). Chiptole or finding a place that sells a cobb or Caesar salad is always my go-to if I'm out and hungry. I'm so happy that places are finding ways to cut out the carbs.
They also have a great nutrition calculator: https://www.blazepizza.com/nutrition-calculator
My favorite combo is keto crust, pesto sauce, bacon, pepperoni, ovalini mozzarella, parmasean, and feta.
- ReversLazarus I loooooove Blaze Pizza.
- siberdraknon I tried this a few months back and was disappointed. I'm glad they offer it and it does scratch that pizza itch in a pinch if you don't have time for any other form of keto pizza. For me, it was almost paper thin and floppy.
I've made Fathead pizza, chicken crust pizzas and had store bought cauliflower pizza, Quest pizza, Real Good pizza. For me, its a tie at the bottom between the Blaze and the Quest.- mshappy I didn't really like it that much. Plus is costs like $16 for a small pizza!! Like $40 for my husband and I. But hey at least it's an option
- AngusGT They're good, and it's nice to have a Keto friendly option. When I worked in the office, there was one of these less than 5 minutes away. It was always a solid option for lunch on the days I didn't pack. Just be careful with your carbs on days you eat there. I've been kicked out of ketosis the times I've had their pizza (even while tracking macros). My guess is it's the difference between the amount of "carbs per serving" vs how much they put on your pizza.
- Neither_Passage239 Blaze keto pizza has been keeping me going. I've been getting it once a week. It's obviously not as good as normal pizza, but it satisfies my pizza craving. I get keto crust, spicy red sauce, both types of mozzarella, bacon, artichoke, roasted garlic, and pesto drizzle.
I've heard others complain of the crust being soggy, but I haven't had that issue-I live super close to Blaze so I'm guessing it's less likely to get soggy during transit. I also avoid getting tomatoes as a topping because that can definitely cause it to get soggy. Maybe putting it in the air fryer would help?- SGrim01 I like the Blaze pizza keto crust. I get it with italian sausage and pepperoni and the spicy red sauce. Is it as good as normal flour crust? No. But it's about the best alternative I've found so far. At home, I use fathead dough with some oregano, garlic powder and parsley either rolled out for a personal size pizza (which I usually share with the dogs since I can't eat the whole thing) or in the waffle maker for mini pizzas. I use Yo Mama's marinara which is fairly low carb and add some red pepper flakes.
