Podner
Podner, yo're welcome
To such as we've got-
The leaks in the roof-
An' the beans in the pot-
The butter that's soft-
An' the bunks that are kard-
The weeds that are growin'
All over the yard
Get up when yore ready
Be plumb at your ease-
Don't worry 'bout us
Just do as yuh please-
Yuh don't have to thank us
Or laff at our jokes-
Sit deep-an' come often-
Yo're one of the folks.

Calico Mine Ride:
This ride is also an integral part of Knott’s Berry Farm’s history as Walter Knott worked in the mining region of San Bernardino County before moving to Buena Park. When the attraction was originally designed, authenticity was key. Theme park pioneer Bud Hurlbut spoke to actual miners and visited numerous mining sites around California to observe and incorporate their stories into the Calico Mine Ride.
