The Declaration Chamber
This is an exact replica of that historic room where the United States of America was born.
Standing beside one of these tables, Richard Henry Lee, on June 7, 1776, moved that these 13 colonies are and of right ought to be free and independent states.
It was in this room that Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and our Constitution, which was signed on Sept. 17, 1787.
