Silver Bullet:

Sean Elkins:The layout of this roller coaster starts out standard for an invert. The quick turnaround from the drop into an inversion. But the second half of this ride is just absolute fun on a bun. The dip near the water is beautiful, and the finale double corkscrew is my favorite element on any coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Kellen Grady:Maybe it had just been a while since I'd ridden a really serious coaster, but this one felt super intense - in a good way. 6 inversions in 2.5 minutes is a lot after not going on a coaster more intense than the Incredicoaster for almost 2 years! Still, like this one a lot, I suppose I just wish it had a little more "fun" factor to balance out the really intense moments.

The Legend of Silver Bullet

There once was a time, not that long ago that demons and exil spirits were known to stalk and terrorize the good settlers and natives of the west. As legend has it, the only way to silence these demons was with the powerful shot of a Silver Bullet. The only source of these supernatural bullets was the fomous Silver Bullet Mine located in parts north of the quaint town of Calico.

The mine was owned and operated by a recluse known only as "Just Jacob". The mine turned out miraculous bullets just as fast as its residents could use them up, but the demons grew wise to the source of their demise and descended upon the town in force to put an end to the production of these magical Silver Bullets.

But Jacob was clever and devised a contraption to out smart the demons. He created powerful ore cars that were suspended beneath a floating track. The ore could then be extracted and raced through tunnels and caverns as gunslingers sat perched on benches protecting the precious cargo. Their arsenal replenished, the citizens of Calico soon rid the town of the menacing demons.

Today, Silver Bullet calls you to confront your own demons. Ready, aim, scram!
