After attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Nate embarked on an artistic journey that has taken him from paintbrush to airbrush freelancing jobs that included murals, drawing portraits, creating logos, designing tattoos. His ambition has always been to create and humbly astound his audience. Eventually his creative path led him back to Pennsylvania where he was offered an apprenticeship in chainsaw art. This opportunity enabled him to transition from drawing to sculpture. His excitement to try something "new" and his belief that art is not limited to one particular style, was realized at the tip of a chainsaw.

His sculptures take on styles that range from realistic wildlife, cartoony cute animals, fantasy art, custom signs and the human fureeins custom branding has led to a steady client base and world-wide recognition. Now being a professional chainsaw sculptor for over 10 years he is planning on continuing the evolution of his work for years to come.
