How to Make Indian Fry Bread
Indian Fry Bread
Ingredients:
2 Cups all purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 cup warm water, 3 cups oil for frying
- Step 1: Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl
- Step 1: Add warm water, mix with a fork until dough forms
- Step 3: Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead for 5 minutes
- Step 4: Transfer dough into a clean bowl. Cover with plastic wrap - sit for 10 minutes
- Step 5: Divide dough into 8 equal sections. Roll each ball into a roughly 6" disk
- Step 6: Heat oil in a large skillet for 5 minutes, until oil reaches 350 degrees
- Step 7: Fry each disc until golden brown, carefully flip to other side
- Step 8: Set on a paper towel to drain oil
- Step 9: Eat, and Enjoy!
