One replied that she loved cucumbers. So I searched and searched online and found the very best cucumber recipe and made it for them as a surprise. This is that recipe. They loved it. Leftovers are great in the fridge and it even tastes better the following days. It has become a go to side dish that we have made over and over.

Makes 8 Big Scoops

  1. Combine
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh dill
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  1. Add
  • 6 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
  1. Stir
  2. Cover
  3. Chill couple hours if poss
